Oualatta has developed an art of decoration of houses made from clay colored in red with geometric and flourier drawing. The Oualatta culinary art is also special. Several scholars and devoted were formed in Oualatta, founded later the city of Timbuktu in Mali, on the way to Makkah by road called ”Savane”.
