Mauritania Expedition takes you from the sea to the deep Sahara. You will cross the border from Dakhla and reach Nouadhibou, then ride a boat with local fishermen into Banc d’Arguin. Nights are spent in simple desert camps under bright stars, and you will drive past wide sand dunes and small villages. The trip mixes quiet beaches, coastal life, and peaceful nights in the desert.
You will walk through a green oasis, visit very old towns like Chinguetti and Ouadane that are on the world heritage list, and see the Eye of the Sahara (the Richat). You’ll also visit tall rock monoliths and take the famous Iron Ore Train back toward Nouadhibou. There is a full rest day to relax before crossing back to Dakhla — a short, strong journey of nature, old places, and simple adventures.
